true, learn more about the n900’s spec before doing this. it also got spiral zoom. and u didnt even let the 3 devices load the page at the same time, fail
Good review. An N900 using capacitive technology and a thinner body would be close to my perfect device =D
@lamtuannguyen You really think spiral zoom and taking out a stylus beats pinch to zoom and a capacitive touchscreen? It’s all subjective, you own the N900 — for me it’s just a review device so I don’t have an attachment. That being said it was still my preferred device for Internet browsing, but it’s not perfect — capacitive touchscreens are more finger friendly.
Im just pointing out the missing thing as i think some people do rely on these videos to decide which device they will get. And i did not say that a resistive screen or a stylus would beat a capacitive screen and pinch zoom. I personally go for pinch zoom despite i have a reaistive screen device. No hard feeling there

@lamtuannguyen I feel ya, sorry for coming off as defensive. I appreciate the input, I’m sure people looking for their next device do as well. In all truthfulness I was really hoping the visuals would do the talking and people would make a decision based on what they see on the screen. Thanks for the comments though.

Great Review, although I would mention that the Droid does a better job of Text Reflow when zoomed in150% etc compared to the N900. With 800 by 480 screens, text is often to small to read comfortably without zooming, and if a column doesn’t reflow, the user has to scroll from side to side; this gets annoying.
Guys am gettin a new phone soon and am confused between nokia n97 mini and iphone 3gs and am bid fan of music so wts better for me to get and 1 last thing wts their prices

I actually think the real fight is with the Droid & N900, they are pretty much similar in a lot of ways /*at least hardware wise*/.

This was kind of a dumb review, and this guy is kind of an idiot…he acknowledged that the droid scrolled the page smoother, he liked the pinch-to-zoom(which of course the n900 didn’t have), AND THEN he went on to say that “the droid takes the cake” when he concluded. But in his ranking he placed the n900 over the droid?! Maybe I missed something along the way - review fail

well everyone knows that the n900 is simply, said absolon3 “its not a smartphone, its a machine” i mean the n900 can go vs my toshiba satellite pro, and still have a good chance, do u guys know, that maemo 5 is actually a notebook os.

N900 owns with full flash and HTML5 as well I have the iPhone 3Gs & Nokia N900 hands down does Web Browsing 100 times faster and better like a PC because it’s a tablet PC with cell phone capabilities .
